Dr. Frederick B. Flinn,
Columbia University,
College of Physicians and Surgeons,
437 West 59th Ste,
New York City.
Dear Dr. Flinn:
In view of your note of the 15th, there is
no necessity for our meeting this I vill malte a note,
bherefore, to phone you the first part of next week in the hope
that you will be able to join me for luncheon then.
In the meantime, I am sending along in
confidence a copy of a letter received by the Waterbury Clock
Company from the Ingersoll Watch Company, Ltd., London. The
writer of this letter, Mr. Daniells, is well posted on luminous
compounds and a pioneer in their use comercially, It seems to
me that his statements are of considerable importance.
It also occurred to me that because of the
publicity recently given to the death of Villa, the prize fighter
in Los Angeles, it would be interesting to secure a report on his
case. It apparently was jas necrosis. If you think well of this
idea, you can doubtless learn the name of the physicien in charge
and communicate with him.
Cordially,
President.
