Dr. Frederick L. Hoffman,
UNITES STATES
EORP.
Prudential Insurance
Company,
Newark, N. J.
Dear Dr. Hoffman,
I have your letter of the 8th inst. concerning
Miss Catherine Schaub.
I
note your statement that she
is in a precarious mental condition because of worry.
While we regret very much the mental strain to which our
former employees have been subjected because of the agita-
tion concerning the supposed risks involved in their
former employment, we are in no way responsible for this
condition and feel, therefore, obliged to decline to ac-
cept your suggestion with regard to Miss Schaub.
Yours very truly,
Relations
