lir. H. B. Kearney, President,
Badiun Chemical Compeny,
Torbos & Meyran Avenues,
Pittsburgh, Pa.
Doar Mg. Kearneys-
We are enclosing a copy of an article
entitled "Radio Active Material an Industrial Hasard?
by Dr. Frederidic B. Flinn, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of
Physiology in Industrial Hygiene, Collogo of Physicians
and Surgeons, Colunbia Univorsity, which is undoubtedly
the most authentic article yot published on this subject.
This will be published in an early edition of the Journal
of the American Medical Association.
Dr. Flinn's work has not extended oves
sufficient length of time to varrant any definite conclu-
sions on the subject. It is hoped that a large enough
fund will be raised to permit him to continue his rosearch
worls, and in this connection we wonder 18 the Radium
Chemical Company would be sufficiently interested to con-
tribute $2,000. so that the work may not be curtailed.
Yours very truly,
President.
