stad lo notingitA 107 holders to .omeM galsswanA July 21st, 1926. Elgin National Watch Co., Elgin, Illinoiss. Attention - Mr. P. E. Stringer, Director of Manufacturing Gentlemen:- We believe you will agree that the article sent you under July 21th on the subject of "Radio Active Material an Industrial Hazard?", shows that Dr. Flinn has gone into this subject more thoroughly than anyone else. His findings, however, are not final; and it has occurred to us that since this subject is no important it would be most desirable for both the makers and users of luminous material to have the study and experiments carried on over a much greater period of time. of course, to do this requires a great deal of time and some money and we wonder if you, as a large user of luminous material, would be willing to contribute say $500. or $1,000, or any reasonable amount, towards a fund that might permit of a continuation of this splendid work. It is estimated that a minimum of $5,000 will be necessary. Yours very truly, President. 6BLEE:OB
