Dear Mr Lee:- We are very grateful to you for your letter of July 12th and the enclosures. We are sending one copy of the article by Dr Flinn to Dr Bridge, H.M. Inspector of Factories, H.M.Home Office, and a copy to Dr Rosher of the Charing Cross Hospital. Both of these Doctors made examinations of some of our girls last October in response to a request by Mr Roeder. At that time we made it a very strict rule in our Luminising Department that our Operators must not, for pointing or any other purpose, put the brushes in their mouths. We are returning, exactly as it reached us, the envelope which contained your letter of July 12th and enclosures. We did not need to enlarge the openings at either end in order to extract contents, and we make no suggestions as to the suitability or otherwise of such envelopes for foreign correspondence.
