RECEIVED Columbia University OCT 13 1926 College of Physicians and Surgeons 437 WEST 59TH STREET, NEW YORK Nationality DEPARTMENT OF PHYSIOLOGY Oct II I926 Mr Lee United States Radium Corp., United States New York City, N.Y. Radium Corporation Dear Mr Lee; I have just heard that a Miss Lena Walls who claims that she painted dials for four years in Waterbury is now in the Waterbury Hospital with a diagnosis of radium poisoning. I understand that all of her front teeth were extracted and they claim to have found radium in the jaw. I do not find her name among the employees that I examined a year ago. This case and Miss Dunn's indicate very plainly to me the necessity for the experimental work we have discussed. Even if the others do not come in I am willing to go ahead with the sum your company are willing to put up and trust to squeezing some more out of my other funds. I sun very anxious to get at it be- cause of these developments. Yours truly G:B.O.him
