Mr. 0. H Granger, President,
Waterbury Clock Co.
Waterbury, Conn.
Denr Mr. Cranger:-
I just hed lunch with Dr. Flinn and he spoke
to me about the New Haven Clock Company's intention some time ago
to carry on a special investigation on the so-called "radium
necrosis" cages.
According to my present recollections, at the
time this investigation was proposed by the New Haven people, we
suggested that inasmuch as Dr. Flinn hed done a considerable
amount of work, possibly Dr. Winslow, who we understand is a very
close fréand of Dr. Root's, might be willing to accept Dr. Flinn's
work and carry on from that point. Then this was mentioned to
Dr. Winslow, he said that he had sufficient confidence in Dr. Flim
to permit him to carry the work to a conclusion and thought it was
unnecessary for the New Haven Clock Company to undertake the task.
I may be wrohg in this, but plan to be in New Haven Tuesday morning
and will check the point carefully.
I shall come to Waterbury direct from Ner Haven
and shall be there sometime early Tuesday afternoon.
Yours truly,
President.
