Dr. S. C. Lind,
University of Minnesoto,
Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dear Dr. Lind:
I beg to acknowledge receint of vour wire, of July 29,
as well as coufirmation.
There i.s a little delay in just what our next move will
be rolative to our suits, due to the absence from the of
one of the members of our legal staff. x am afraid that it will
be impossible to make arrangements to see you prior to the 5th of
August, and it is quite nogsible that it will be important that
have a short conference with you orier to the 15th.
In this
connection, I am wontering if it would be possible to gee you for
a matter of an hour or tiro while you are on your vacation.
Y
appreciate
that one does not like to be disturbed with business
matters when enjoying a vacation, and I hardly anticipa te that it
will be necessary to see you prior to your return. However, in
case that I have to take a trin wast during your absence, I mould
appreciate it, if possible, to have a short conference with you
while in that section of the country. Will your meil be promnte
ly forwarded to you during your absence?
Assuring you that ve ap/oreciate your spirit in this
matter, we are with kind regards,
Sincerely yours,
HHBarker:
VICE-PRESIDENT.
