MATERIAL CORP.
Gentlemen:
As you know, Vice Chancellor Backes denied
the motion to join Katherine Schaub, Quinta McDonald, Edna
Hussman and Albina Larice as parties complainant in the above
equity suit.
Mr. Berry states that he is now going to
file a separate bill of complaint for each claimant and he re-
quested us in the presence of Mr. Smith to advise whether we
would acknowledge the bills of complaint and the subpoenas.
Neither Mr. Smith nor Mr. Markley saw any objection to acknow-
ledging these papers, especially since Mr. Berry signified his
W illingness to give us two copies of each bill of complaint,
and we so advised him. Upon informing Mr. Stryker of this ar-
rangement he saw no objection thereto. As soon as the bills of
complaint come in we shall have extra copies made and distribute
them. We can then arrange to confer for the purpose of drafting
answer in each case.
We enclose copy of order denying the motion
to join parties.
Yours very truly,
Callin Cortra
