Herewith enclosed find copy of letter from
Mr. Edwin F. Smith of the 9th instant, together with copy
of our reply. These letters are self-explanatory
The last time the matter of coverage was dis-
cussed with Mr. Markley it Was understood that Mr. Lee
was to look up his records for the purpose of determining
just what years the New Amsterdam Casualty Company carried
your insurance. While we appear as attorneys of record in
the Fryer and Schaub cases, it may be that the New Amsterdam
Casualty Company carried your insurance for part of the time
that those plaintiffs were employed by your company. We do
not know. In any event, our correspondence with Mr. Stryker
indicates that the question of coverage so far as our client,
the Aetna, is concerned is reserved pending the final outcome
of the cases.
Yours very truly,
Callins Calen
