Dear Dr. Flinn:
Thanks for the correspondence between Dr. Alice
Hamilton and Dr. Emerson, which you will please find enclosed
herewith.
It is certainly difficult to understand the
attitude taken by Dr. Hamilton and her apparent willingness
to accept all statements made by the plaintiff's attorneys
at their face value. No doubt if some of the motives behind
these suits are ever brought to light Dr. Hamilton and a good
many other critics will get a different slant on the situation.
I should like to have lunch with you soon, some
day at your convenience.
