Radium Corp., 535 Pearl Street, New York, N.Y. Dear C.B.L. I cut the enclosed clipping from the Friday morning World regarding suits against the U. S. Radium Corp. My main reason for sending this is the second paragraph in this statement made by Mrs. Hussman of No. 50 Buchanan St., Hillside, N.J. stating that she was instructed by the for ewoman that in order to get best results that she should point the brush with her lips and tongue. Of course, I was never connected with the U.S. Radium Corp. except to hold some of their stock but you will perhaps remember when we were with the old company that I used to visit the factory in Orange sometimes as often as twice a week but usually at least once a week. At that time, the U.S. Radium C orp. had many thousands of our watches and it was quite a job as you will recall it keeping inventories, etc. straight and getting the goods as fast as we would like to have them and I remember in my visits through the plant in going through the working rooms that I was told by Mr. Saboy and Mr. May that each girl had a little cup of water in front of her to dip her brush in so that they would avoid just the thing this woman is omplaining about of not putting the brush to their mouth.
