April 13th, 1928. Dr. Frederick B. Flinn, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, 437 West 59th St. N.Y.O. Dear Dr. Flinn: Many thanks for your letter of April 12th, with enclosed letter from Dr. Bean. We are returning Dr. Bean's letter herewith. It certainly is very kind of Dr. Bean to be willing to assist in the defense of the pending suits. We will arrange that his time be conserved as mach as possible. We have just had information this morning that Mx. Berry has refused to permit of the examination of the complainants without an order from the court. Our attorneys have applied for the conrt order. and will argue the matter before Vice Chancellor Backes next Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. Just as soon as we have a decision we shall let you know so that you and Lir. Barker may work out the type tests which you deem advisable to make, Very truly yours, CBLee:RH President. enc.
