UNITED STATES RADIUM CORPORATION - THE LUMINITE CORPORATION V. EDNA HUSSMAN Report of Elizabeth C. Lewis: April 25, 1928. Dorthes Thomson, 419 Roseville Ave. Nowark, N. J. Returned to the abovo address at 4:30 P. M. Mot Thomson whom I found to be a young woman of pleasing pez- sonality, receiving me in a cordial manner. Said her sister Farley, had advised her of my visit. Regarding Edna Hussman, said while she is acquainted with hor, lonsws vory little of her activities, etc. Never net hor until they moved into the apartment at 448 Roso- villo Avenue. Were nevor intimate friends, would exchange groet- ings, now and then conversing on different topics when meeting in the back yard and about the house. Said they were very common, narrow-minded people and very crude in their mannorisms. Consid- exed them far beneath her standing. It would be a grent embar- rassment to her to have to be involved in any court proceedings. For this resson alone she would not commit hersolf in any way. Finally said "Woll, it is true, Mrs. Hussman did fall down the baok stairs at hor home. Agcident happened at the time hor sis- tor, Elsie gave birth to a child out of wedlook" Date she could not remembez, but thinks it WRS in the early part of July, 1925. Exact date oan be verified by going to the Women's Intornity Hospital, Central Avenue, whore Bolz gave birth to her child. Said, She, Thomson, did not witness the accident, all she knows of the occurence is what urs. Hussman hergelf rolat- ed to her, that through excitementi she slipped as she started down the steps and sustained an injury to her hip.
