Endeavoring to verify if William Bolz or Louis Hussman
evor instituted claims for phosphorus 02° any chemical poisoning,
at above office, met itr. Weinant, who willingly consented
to search their files but fáiled to find the name of Hussman or
Bolz listed.
Said he recalled some time ago of thore being aevoral
cases filed in the office where employees of the Radium Corpora-
tion had mado claim and were endeavoring to recover compensation
due to radium poisoning. One case he vividly recalls was a young
woman who foll down the steps in Bamberger's Department Store,
sustaining an injury to her hip 02° limb. As a result of the in-
jury she was incapacitated for months with condition gradually
becoming more serious.
After many examinations, ex-rays, etc., the attending
physician diagnosed her case as radium poisoning. Name of this
woman he could not remember but for the desired information ro-
