November 5th,1928. Congleton, Stallman & Hoover, 810 Broad St., Newark, N.J. Contlemen: We have your letter of November 3rd, regarding the cleims which lirs. Meta and Mrs. Tuft may have against this corporation. Our records of employment do not show these two names, and we assume that it is because they worked for us before they were married, and we wonder if you would be so good as to give us further information regarding these two ladies? 1. Under what nanes were they employed? R. What are the approximate periods of employment? 3. When did their trouble first develop, and what is their present condition? 4. If they are now taking treatment, we would appreciate it if you would tell us who is the attending physician. While I am not in a position to say anything definite at this time with regard to the company's attitude, nevertheless I can assure you that the compeny will give careful consideration to these claims, and that it will do whatever is right and just under all the circunstances. If you will assist us in gethering whatever facts are necessary to reach a proper decision in the matter, I shall appreciate it very much indeed. Very truly yours, CBLee: RH President.
