We acknowledge receipt of your
letter of the 19th inst. enclosing copy of summons and
complaint in the foregoing matters.
We are also in receipt of your
letter December 21st, enclosing the original summons and
complaint.
Messrs. Edwards & Smith, attorneys
at law, #1 Exchange Place, Jersey City, N.J. will be
requested to defend this suit, it being understood that
such action shall neither waive nor prejudice any of our
existing rights nor be an admission that we are solely
liable to hold you harmless against any judgment herein
that may be rendered against you.
