My dear Sir:
The investigation of the delay to your air mail letter,
promised in my letter to you of March 21, has been completed.
The report shows that the delay was due to improper dispatch
from the post office of Columbia, Missouri. Proper disciplinary
action will be taken.
Any inconvenience resulting from the delay is regretted
but every effort will be made to prevent a recurrence.
Your cooperation in calling the matter to my attention is
appreciated.
Very truly yours,
