Dr. James E. Ives,
Room 1-123 Bldg.,
16th Seventh St., S.W.,
Washington, P.c.
Dear Dr. Ives:
Replying to your letter of April 17th:
We are glad to advise that the Wulf bifilar.
electroscope arrived in New York yesterday, and presume that
it will be a matter of a few days to a week before the instru-
ment can be cleared and delivered to us. We are in hopes
that it will be available for your work some time the latter
part of next week, and in this connection will you kindly
advise as to where you wish the instrument shipped - that is
do you want us to send it to #ashington or will you pick it
up here in New York.
We will be glad to follow your wishes
in this matter.
Very truly yours,
Vice President.
