Dr. James E. Ives,
Room 1-123 "g" Bldg.,
16 Seventh St., S.W.
Washington, D.C.
Dear Dr. Ives:
We are experiencing the usual delay in clearing
scientific instruments, such as the Mulf-Hess electrometer, through
the Customs, although we have placed this matter in the hands of
people who are supposed to be in a position to expedite such matters.
lie are in hopes that we will have the instrument in
our possession this week, and will advise you as soon as it reaches
our laboratories.
Very truly yours,
Vice President.
