June 11th,1929. Dr. Herman Schlundt, University of Missouri, Columbia,Mo. Dear Dr. Schlundt: As Mr. Markley advised you the meeting of the Insurance Companies was held on Thursday of last week, but no final decision was arrived at. There is to be snother meeting tomorrow June 12th, at which time it is probable that the distribution of expenses will be agreed upon, so that all bills pending may be paid. However, in the event that they do not arrive at a decision we shall be glad to advance you the money expended by you until such time as you are reimbursed by the Insurance Companies. Your program for the summer should not be delayed on this account. Our plans for going abroad this summer have been practically completed and, we expect to sail on June 29th, for a fifty-two - day cruise of the Western Mediterranion and Norway, touching both London and Paris. I feel that it should be a very delightful trip and one which we will enjoy talking about for years to come. I shall be interested in having your address for the summer and, in case you wish to reach me you can probably do so by addressing our office - they will have a mailing address so that mail will reach me as promptly as possible. Sincerely yours, HHBarker: RH
