Dr. Herman Schlundt,
University of Miasouri,
Columbia, Mo.
Dear Dr. Schlundt:
For the past two years we, as the
Unted States Radium Corporation, have on innumerable occa-
sions made demands on your time which we appreciate have put
you to considezable inconvenience, and we wish to assure you
that your giving us so freely of such time has not gone un-
appreciated. We further appreciate that from a monetary
standpoint you have been very modest in your fees, but real-
ise that you have felt duly rewarded in contributing what you
could that might be of benefit to humanity.
The corporation has been Very kind this
year in expressing their appreciation of the services which
we have given by remembering us with Christmas gifts in the
form of checks, and in view of your good offices in coopera-
ting with us we feel that you should be included and arg glad
to herewith send you a modest remembrance. We regret that it
is not for a larger amount, but know that you will appreciate
the spirit.
With sincere greetings to yourself and
family, I am
Cordially yours,
Vice President.
