Dr. H.H. Bowing,
c/o Mayo Clinic,
Rochester, Minn.
Dear Dr. Bowing:
Thanks for your wire of February 6th, and
tetter of the same date which we received today.
We deeply regret that it will be impossible
for you to participate by giving us your aid in Chicago on
February 24th. However, we appreciate the policy adopted
by your Board of Directors, and can understand fully why they
urge you not to becone a party in this matter.
Again allow me to thank you for the considera-
tion that you have given our probles, and I hope that you fell
at least partially repaid for your time by the clear insight
into the problem which you may have gathered from your conversa-
tion with me.
Sincerely,
Vice President.
