Dear Mr. Smith: This will acknowledge receipts of your letter of July 3lat, enclosing copies of letters addressed to Doetors Rector and Brothers, also Chas. N. Woeks, Esq. I have made arrangements to have Dr. Schlundt prepared to conduot the electroesopic examination of Mrs. liets and lis. Tuck, at 9 o'clock on the morning of August 6th, at the Newark City Hospital. Pursuant to our conversation of this morning: I have not yet been able to locate Dr. Flinn and it is possible that I may have difficulty in doing so, in such event we may have Dr. Schlundt conduct the examinations by himself. It is important that complete X-ray pictures be made of the entire bony structure of these woben, and I hope that you will commission your specialist with this task. lie ahould also have a Wasserman, complete blood picture, as well as report of Drs. Rector and Brothers regarding their physical findings. It is my thought that with complete X-ray pietures of the entire bony skeleton we aan submit same to the Doctore st Nemoriel Hospital, who have been studying the five cases settled in June of 1928, and are quite femilier with any radium lesions found in the skeletons of these girls. They would be able to identify similar lesions in the casea of lrs. lieta and Tuck, and 1 an sure that they would be glad to testify for us in the event that we desire their serfices. I consider these men, especially Dr. Craver, as well qualified in this field as anyone in the Retropolitan area. It would not be necessary for Dr. Cravor to see lrs. Leta and Tuck, but merely to examine their X-gay plates for diagnosis of Radium Poisoning. I am not planning on being in Newark during this examination unless you feel that I should be there.
