LAW OFFICES ARTHUR DEVINCENTIS METROPOLITAN BUILDING 308 MAIN STREET ORANGE,N.J. TELEPHONE, ORANGE 3--0008 October 28, 1930 0CT291930 U. S. Radium Corporation 535 Pearl Street New York, New York Re: Stasi VS. U. S. Radium Corporation Attention Mr. Lee Dear Sir: I cannot understand why I have not heard from you in reference to the above entitled case. I have given you all the information that you need to conduct your in- vestigation and you certainly should have this completed by this time. Mr. Stasi, the husband, is pressing me for action and has instructed me to institute suit immediately. I am, therefore, preparing the necessary papers to start the suit and unless I have some definite word from you as to a settlement in this case, I shall file the papers immediately. In your letter of October 2nd, you asked me to furnish you with definite information regarding dates of em- ployment, etc. I told you over the telephone that Mrs. Stasi was employed in your firm in Orange, from August 1918, to about February, 1920. The nature of her illness had been radium pois- oning which resulted in her death. She had been ill for the past year or SO but was only advised of her ailment in August of this year. This is all the information that I can give you and from your experiences with the previous cases you should know the condition which results from radium poisoning. Very truly yours, ADV: MCH archur Delincents
