Nashington, D.C.
Dear Dr. Ives:
It has been called to our attention that your work
in investigating the luminous dial painting industry has been
completed, and that the Clock Companies have now received a report
of this work.
I have written Dr. Leake asking for this report, and
I an writing you to inquire whether you have completed your work
with the Wulf-Hess Gamma Ray instrument loaned you some time ago, and
when we may expect to have this instrument returned to us.
Please be assued that while we have use for the
insturment in question, we trust that you will keep it until your
work has been completed.
Very truly yours,
Vice President.
