H. H. Barker, Esq.
Vice Pres. U. S. Radium Corp .
,
535 Pearl Street,
New York City.
Dear Mr. Barker:
I acknowledge receipt of your favor of
the 11th with enclosure. Upon cons umma tion of the settle-
ment I shall send you release and close the matter out.
With respect to the coverage of the
various insurance companies, that is a matter which I cannot
decide because as you know, I represent two of the insurance
companies and in any controversy over coverage my representa-
tion must be for the insurance companies which I represent.
The facts must of course speak for themselves. The Globe's
position, as I understand it, is that Mrs. Saxer was not
employed during their coverage. In an eventual settl ement
between the various campanies that question will have to be
decided and if the parties cannot agree amicably, it will
probably have to be settled by litigation.
With kindest regards,
Sincerely yours,
EAM : AG
