Gentlemen:
answering Mr. Tarkley's letter of January 28th on the
above subject.
Te believe it sould be wise to settle this suit for a
sua not exceeding $5000.00 11 possible, as undoubtedly the cost
of trial will approxiante that figuro.
Tie presune thot under our present agreements with the
insurance companies that the United States Radium Corporation
would be obliged to advance the acount of aettlement, but fool
that the Globe Indeanity Company should give their authorization,
since in case we won the suit now pending against the insurance
conpanies, on the question of coverage, we would expect to be
reimbursed for the full amount advanced by us.
Very truly yours,
Prepident.
