Dear Mr. Lee: Mr. Smith and I are waiting to hear from you in regard to the contents of his letter to you of April 29, 1932 in the above wherein he stated it was his understanding that in the event of settlement herein, you were to make the advance of $5000. subject to the agreements heretofore existing between the parties.
