PHONE CALDWELL { 6-1651 P. O. BOX 158 6-1652 Hiem TReat" N. J. Oct. 3rd., 1932. Dr. James Ewing, 2 West 106th St., New York City Dear Sir: Re: Katherine Schaub I am in receipt of letter of Sept. 22nd. 1932 in thich Mr. Barker states you did not approve of the visits to Dr. Humphries office on the 12th. 25th. s and 29th , of August. YOU no doubt are aware during the absence of Dr. Humphries the month of August, Dr. Davic was in e harge of Dr. Humphries practice. It was about this time Miss Schaub began to have more trouble than ever. I felt the need of advice, as the limb was progress inely growing worse. On the 25th., an appointment was made and we Ve re not informed of Dr. Davies being ill until Miss Schaub went int o the office, therefore that trip was made again on the 29th. owing to the gangrenous condition of Miss Schaub's linb ve are changing the dressings more frequent and this requires more supplies which accounts for the added expense in the bills for medical requirements. I believe Miss Schaub to be growing worse in general health as well. Shows intense suffering with he r limb. I trust I did not infringe on my rights in trans porting Miss Schaub frequently for adviee, when present trouble began. BST.C/IG Very truly yours, hrus. Domald stllain
