Re: O'DELL -VS- U.S. RADIUM CORP.
Dear Sir:
In response to your letter of the 12th
inst. I trust that the following information will be as
requested.
1. Mrs. O'Dell was in the employ of
your Company for approximately two years.
2. From the very nature of her illness
and the general symptons of radium activity, it is difficult
for her to ascribe a date when she first suffered as a
result of the radium ingested. However, she believes that
she has been suffering from general anemic condition and
other manifestations for a period about seven years.
3. Her present condition as indicated by
her and her physicians are severe pains around the heart,
with numbness and loss of power on the left side and
chronical illness. Her gums became very soft resulting
in the loosening and loss of teeth, coupled with bleeding
therefrom, she has lost e onsiderable weight and suffers
from exhaustion.
Any and all correspondence between us
shall not be prejudicial in the event of suit, particularly
in view of the fact that this case is of a highly special-
ized medical field, and your writer is not well versed in
the science or terminology thereof.
Awaiting your reply, I remain,
Very truly yours,
Rosenbaum & Mintz.
