Mr. H. S. Barker,
U. S. Radium Corporation,
535 Pearl Street,
New York City.
My dear Mr. Barker:--
From the enclosed bills which I have
okayed after consulting with Dr. Craver, it is
evident that we are facing considerable expense
in the care of Miss Fryer. As you were informed
from Dr. Craver's report Miss Fryer has a large
tumor of some sort in the pelvis and has been
suffering considerable pain. He felt that she
needed hospital care and hoped it would not be
over a very long period. We are writing to
Dr. Humphries to ascertain if a lower rate at
the hospital cannot be obtained and how long he
expects her to remain in the hospital.
Very sincerely yours,
JE/hf
