Mrs. Albina Iarice,
463 Austin Place,
Orange, N.J.
Dear Mrs. Larice:
As Dr. Ewing is away your bills from
the Highland Pharmacy for the months of June, July and
August have been referred to me for approval.
On analyzing the statements I am sur-
prised at the large amounts of some drugs and materials
which are included. For example the bills show a total of
900 asáirin tablets, which means 10 tablets a day. Eighteen
pints of alcohol, amounts to over 3 ounces of alcohol a
day. Apparently five pounds of sodium sulphate was used.
There is a powder blower at $2.00, the purpose of which I
do not understand. All the amounts seem rather excessive
and the question has come up repeatedly whether you should
not take care of SL me of these expenditures out of your
regular allowance from the Radium Corporation I am holding
these bills for approval until I hear from you.
Another matter is that as a member of
the committee I am su posed to be in charge of your case,
yet I see you very infrequently. Can you not manage to come
over here at more regular intervals? Please try to make
an appointment however before you come so that it will not
be at some inconvenient time.
OCT 26 1933
Very truly yours,
Lloyd F. Craver
