In Re: NYC-75060 Lucy M. Sullivan vs: Radium Luminous
Material Corps of Delaware
Mr. C. B. Lee, President,
United States Radium Corp.,
535 Pearl Street,
New York City.
Dear Sir:-
We acknowledge the receipt of your letter
March 28th and copies of the summons and complaint in
the action brought against you in the United States
District Court, District of New Jersey by Lucy M.
Sullivan, for damages on account of injuries alleged
to have been sustained while in your employ.
You will recall the meeting Dec. 16th 1930
in the office of the Aetna Life Insurance Company at
which time it was understood we would not defend
any suit or suits for damages brought subsequent
thereto, therefore we have not requested Messrs.
Edwards & Smith to file their appearance as attorneys
of record.
This letter is written merely as an acknow-
ledgment of your communication, and also of our will-
ingness to assume any liability fully covered under
the New Jersey Workmen's Compensation Policy issued
to you and in force during any part of the period
of Lucy M. Sullivan's employment.
Yours very truly,
NEW AMSTERDAM CASUALTY co.
By: Resident President.
