Dr. Herman Schlundt,
Room 110, New Chemistry Bldg.,
Columbia, Mo.
Dear Dr. Schlundt:
In chasing down the references in the literature,
to which Mr. Emmerglick referred at the time of taking your
deposition, there are one or two points which you may be able
to help me on.
First, "Handbook of Radium Therapy" by Lazurus,
published about 1909. I am wondering if the University has a
copy of this volume, and if so whether it would be possible
foryou to obtain the loan of same to bring with you to New
York. He also referred to two authors by the names, Stroltzner,
and Lehnertz; their work occurring around 1908 or 1909 on
the deposit of strontium in the bone. I have no knowledge of
these authors or the SP ecific lines of investigation which they
pursue. Perhaps you are familiar with these gentlemen and can
cite these particular references.
Thanking you, I an,
Very truly yours,
HHBarker:DK
Vice-President
