Dear Dr. Flinn:
The 15 plates we are today sending you herewith are troated with
a total of 5 milligrams radium. A preliminary measurement indicates that
the radium is tightly bound, and that a large percentage of the alpha
radiation is available. The plates were troated on Maroh 12th, and con-
seguently will not reach their peak value for sevoral weeks. In packing,
the plates have been placed in a container with the troated sido upe
Via are also enclosing a bill for $350.00 which covers in part cost
of materials used.
We trust you will find these plates satisfactory, and that they
will accomplish the work for which you intend theme
