MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FOR THE TREATMENT OF CANCER AND ALLIED DISEASES INCORPORATED 1884 MAY 26 1944 ARCHIBALD DOUGLAS YORK AVENUE AT 68TH STREET AFFILIATED WITH CHAIRMAN, BOARD OF MANAGERS NEW YORK, N. Y. CORNELL UNIVERSITY HARRY PELHAM ROBBINS PRESIDENT MEDICAL COLLEGE TELEPHONE: REGENT 4-5500 JAMES T. LEE VICE-PRESIDENT DOUGLAS RESEARCH H. MORTON MERRIMAN LABORATORIES SECRETARY EDWARD C. DELAFIELD HUNTINGTON FUND FOR TREASURER CANCER RESEARCH REGINALD G. COOMBE CHAIRMAN, EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE GEORGE F. HOLMES CORNELIUS P. RHOADS, M.D. SUPERINTENDENT DIRECTOR May 24, 1944 Mr. C. B. Lee United States Radium Corporation 535 Pearl Street New York City Dear Mr. Lee: Mrs. Albina Larice saw me today. She is consider- ably more crippled since about Easter time. She has had increased pain in the thighs, and on suspicion of the possibility of osteo- genic sarcoma I have had films made of her chest, pelvis, femurs, tibiae. She appears to be again in need of a new orthopedic corset, her present one being over a year old. Her husband plans to bill you for his expenses for his day off and the cost of the trip. Another point is that she is without a lower set of false teeth. A spicule of bone has worked itself away from the gum, and at present her plate does not fit. I think, however, the plate should be deferred for a while as there is still some tenderness of the left lower jaw. With best regards, I am, Very sincerely yours, Lloyd F.Cram, Lloyd F. Craver, M.D. LFC:1k
