Dear Dr. Humphries:-
Many thanks for the expression of appreciation con-
tained in your letter of November 18th. We certainly tried to
do the very best we knew how towards those involved and it was
gratifying to know that you recognized this effort on our part.
You who were probably closer to these patients during
their long years of suffering than any other individual certainly
deserve commendation for the patience, care and encouragement
bestowed upon them. For this we are truly grateful.
