Dr. F. B. Flinn,
Columbia University,
15 Amsterdem Avenue,
New York 23, N. Y.
Dear Dr. Flinn:-
Thanks very much for your letter of February
27th. Dr. Hess has also pointed out to us that several of
the flasks used for air samples have recently shown evidence
of contamination. We have suggested that he retain several
flasks out of each shipment made to you and run tests on the
evacuated flasks to determine which are contaminated.
In the meantime, we have ordered eight
additional flasks from the Scientific Glass Apparatus Company
and these are to be shipped directly to your laboratory.
No delivery date has as yet been obtained, but
we would expect these flasks to be delivared within the next
four to six weeks.
Very truly yours,
Ghief Chemist
