Is it not a fact that the healbh of many people has been jeopardized and to som e extent sacrificed in the development of our knowledge pretaining to the use of X-ray and radium for deep day therapy before complete knowledge as to the physical properties and possible injurious effects whi ch mig accrue in the handling of these rather new types of radiationum estatlished Is it not a fact that even at the time that such injuries occured that it was commonly beliefed all precautions were taken which would protect operators handling or working with thes etypeSof radiation from any possible injuries.
