Amy Block letter of recommendation for the Center of the Study of the Presidency
Fellowship
Tom,
Thank you very much for helping me with this letter of recommendation. I believe I have
worked very hard to help make a substantive contribution to the Domestic Policy Council and I
know that I have learned a great deal from being included your work.
The Center for the Study of the Presidency is a non-profit educational corporation, chartered by
the Board of Regents of New York. The Center conducts research on American government and
the Presidency, and publishes the academic journal, Presidential Studies Quarterly. Each year,
20 Fellows are selected to coordinate the Annual Leadership Conference, moderate debates,
write a major research paper on an aspect of the Presidency, and serve as a liaison to public
officials, scholars, and other students.
The application deadline is April 30, 1998 and there is no official recommendation form. The
letter should be sent to:
Dr. Arthur Peterson
President and CEO
