One site suggests that\nthe March is to \"get the child support laws changed and enforced\".\nOne site calls for petitions that marchers will take to Washington. The petition is not on the site,\nbut can be requested by email. The point of the petitions seems to be to request changes in\nchild support laws at federal and state levels. (The sites do not specify the changes necessary,\nexcept for a reference to making \"it a felony for dead beats at the state levels\".)\nAnother affiliated site calls for letters with 'stories' to be sent to the White House (by certified\nmail, return receipt requested):\n\"Imagine the President getting\nswarmed with all this mail, from parents all over the world, who can not get their child support\npayments!\nI know if we all would do this at the same time, he would have to look into the situation a little\nmore closely.\"\nSome sites refer to the week of May14 as \"Dead Beat Parents Awareness Week\".
