The Lab School has an annual fundraising Gala to honor
Outstanding Learning Disabled Achievers such as Cher, Governor
Gaston Caperton, Harry Belafonte, writer Richard Cohen,
paleontologist Dr. John Horner, and playwright Wendy Wasserstein.
The 1993 Gala will be held at the Shoreham Hotel in Washington,
DC on Monday evening, November 8th. I wish to extend an
invitation to you to join me at this very uplifting event.
My family and I have waited a long time to see a champion of
education in the White House. The Clinton administration presents
a much needed opportunity to make real and lasting improvements
in the lives of all of our children. The Lab School is an
extraordinary example of what can be accomplished when creative
