Secretary Reich's press statement from Friday, February 24 press conference Secretary Reich's press release to mayors on the proposed elimination of the summer jobs program supportive press clips generated by DOL Statements released by mayors Statements and legislative alerts released by CBOs For this week, we plan to focus on the floor vote in the House and upcoming action in the Senate: Secretary Reich is testifying before the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee tomorrow The Secretary is scheduled to speak with key Members of the House and Senate Appropriations Committees Secretary Reich is holding another conference call for mayors, major CEOs and press (an official request for the President to participate will be forwarded to Billy Webster) to highlight the potential effects of the rescission proposal I will continue to send in daily updates.
