Mr. Harold Ickes
Deputy Chief of Staff
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, D.C.
Dear Harold:
Several weeks ago I called Bobby to explore the possibility of working on an
advance team during the campaign. She was very enthusiastic about the idea
and called me this week to tell me that now was a good time to send my
resume off to you.
After careful consideration, I have concluded that the timing for me to leave
my current position at Mount Sinai Hospital is not good. If this should
change, I will let you know. Either way, I will be devoting myself to President
Clinton's reelection from on the road or at home.
Thank you very much for your time.
Sincerely,
Magge Lean
