HHS employee Willard Olsen (subject of possible Associated Press story)
Kitty, in your 7 August 1995 memorandum to me regarding follow up to the Cabinet weekly
report, you state that Richard Keil of the Associated Press has requested the personnel file of
former HHS employee Willard Olsen, apparently on the theory that he may have been
reassigned because he made grant decisions with regard to Texas that may have been
unpopular with Senator Gramm. Can you find out from HHS what the facts are from the
point of view.
