Attached Letter for Carl McCall
Carl McCall, the Democratic nominee for Comptroller in New York, was the subject of attack
in a recent ad run in The Jewish Press. A copy of the ad is attached.
Clearly, the President's quote is fabricated. McCall's campaign would like a statement from
the President expressing his support for McCall, and his distaste for the divisive nature of this
ad. The campaign would release the statement at a press conference on Monday. A draft is
attached.
Can you approve/improve this draft as soon as possible this weekend so we can get the letter
to New York in time for the press conference?
Please advise.
