Proposed meeting with Lyn Cutler
This is to formally request a meeting with Lyn Cutler of the White House's
Intergovernmental Office and the following members of the Chickasaw Nation, Governor
Bill Anoatubby, Lt. Governor David Brown, and Ambassador Charles W. Blackwell. As
you may or may not know, President Clinton appointed Governor Anoatubby to the Udall
Commission upon which he continues to serve.
We would like to schedule this proposed meeting for Monday, October 20, in the
afternoon, preferably around 4 p.m.
CIGA staff mtg you're on agenda)
The following items would like to be discussed:
1. Obtaining official State Department recognition of the diplomatic presence of the
Chickasaw Nation in Washington.
2. Support from the Department of Commerce for an international trade corridor through
the Chickasaw Nation along I-35.
3. Assistance with business development between the international business community
and the Chickasaw Nation.
