In follow-up to our discussion yesterday on White Vulcan Mine, we provided
the attached information on the status of the pending settlement to OMB.
Specifically, we have alerted them to the importance of the settlement and
the need to consider funding for this settlement in the negotiations on the FY
2001 Interior Appropriations Bill.
Please let me know if you need additional information on this issue.
