The backbone of my bridge consisted of two magnificint pieces + of white oak royal granively melf seasoned were to span the gap between the 14 x 16 inches & 6 ofect Cong which ship's rail & the rocks, reach well under the meteonite at one end of manly across the ship at the others a couple of These two timber feet apart in the clear & a 12x12 were laid side by side of five much timber notched down over them at each end & holted. through with 11/4 inch bolte of best swedish iron main hatch to the meteoult 12x12 From the inshore side of the meteoute wich yellow hime timber Thirtyfeet lang was laid midway between the two oak timbers of at every seven feely the biller prices of 12x 12 wich timby whole inserted & holted together by 11/24 inch through with large washers.
